THE FRONT OFFICE
Our club owners, front-office staff, coaches and trainers include both male and female representatives are all residents of the San Antonio area.
San Antonio supports a large soccer community with an increasing demographic of young female players coming up through ranks of the youth clubs and high schools of San Antonio. They are inspired by the high profile, successful NWSL women soccer players such as Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd and more. The passion shown by these girls for soccer is heavily supported by their families and friends.
Supporting SAASC provides organizations with an opportunity to engage with a local community club involving players, their families and supporters. Supporting SAASC means your brand will be well represented within many San Antonio communities as well as the South Texas area.
The WPSL is recognized as a leading national women’s soccer league, with over 100 teams, divided across 6 regional conferences. SAASC will compete in the Southwest-South Conference along with Lonestar FC WPSL, FC Austin, Texas Titans, TTI WPSL Bluebonnets, Houston Select South, and Shreveport Lady Rafters. The WPSL season runs from May through early August, and SAASC will play between 10-16 games, with home games being played in San Antonio at Blossom Athletic Center. A league championship tournament is held the last week of July
SAASC has already generated media interest within the city. Our social media fan base is highly engaged and our tryouts and player signings have been covered by KSAT and KENS5 news stations (see links below). Many high school and colleges are also covering, following and reposting our activity, signings etc. Our goal is to be highly engaged with the SA community and run team-based events and activities throughout the city. Local magazines and newspapers have also published stories about the formation of this team. Our marketing team will continue to push our press and media info to keep this engagement active.
Opportunities exist to include corporate exposure. During the soccer season, we will produce a program for each home game with advertising opportunities, sponsor logos, as well as posting sponsored social media/ web site game starting line-up content. and produces a booklet for each game entitled.
